Peter Grasse

Peter Grasse is an award-winning producer and the founder of Mr+Positive in both Tokyo and Singapore, shaping some of the Asia-Pacific region’s most dynamic production companies across New Zealand, Australia, Singapore, and Japan. Over the past decade, he has produced globally recognized commercial campaigns and championed emerging talent.

Peter began his career at Curious Film Auckland, expanding the company into Sydney and winning numerous international honours, including Cannes Grands Prix . Since relocating to Japan in 2016, his work has earned a BAFTA, Grand Effie, D&AD Pencil, Cannes Lions and Gold Webby.

He has chaired and served on juries for leading global awards including Cannes Lions, Ciclope, Spikes, Adfest, Axis, Shots, 1.4 and The Immortals. Under his leadership, Mr+Positive was ranked the #1 Production Company in Asia 2024 and contributed to films premiering at the Sundance and Slamdance Film Festivals in 2025.
