Main Event

The Berlin Commercial main event will take place on September 9th at KINO INTERNATIONAL – one of Europe’s most iconic cinemas and historic landmark of film culture in Berlin. For the 2026 edition, we are embracing a more focused format: curated, streamlined, and intimate.

The program will center around the announcement and screening of the winning films, bringing together directors, producers, agencies, brands, and creatives for an evening of screenings, conversation, and exchange. The focus remains on outstanding work, cinematic presentation, and the people behind today’s visual culture.

In a landscape increasingly shaped by algorithms and optimisation, the real advantage is no longer access to tools, but the ability to make decisive, culturally resonant choices.
This panel explores why human perspective, critical voice, instinct, and aesthetic judgement remain essential to influential work – and how AI, when used well, can become a creative amplifier rather than a replacement.
From creative direction to brand-building, we discuss the role of style, discernment, and vision in defining not only the state of the art, but the state of the industry.
